Professional Biography

Mohammad Masri is an attorney whose family’s immigrant experience informs his practical and personal approach to immigration law. He understands that an immigration matter can affect a client’s family, career, business, and future. He works closely with clients to understand their circumstances, explain the available options, and help them make informed decisions throughout the legal process.

Mohammad’s background includes work involving corporate law, regulatory compliance, litigation, and international legal matters. His prior professional experience includes work with DLA Piper on matters involving clients and legal teams in the United States and Europe, as well as securities-litigation work at Labaton Keller Sucharow. He now applies that experience when representing individuals, families, and businesses in immigration, business, compliance, and other federal matters.

His practice areas include Form I-9 compliance for employers, with guidance on internal reviews, employment verification procedures, documented corrections, and preparation of responses to Notices of Inspection.

His Arabic and Serbian heritage, together with his professional proficiency in Spanish, gives him an appreciation for the importance of clear communication across cultures. He takes the time to listen, answer questions directly, and help clients understand both the opportunities and the risks involved in their matters.

Mohammad earned his Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law, where he also completed a Corporate Compliance Certificate. He was admitted to practice in Washington, D.C., in 2024. He also holds a Master of Business Administration in International Business from Rollins College and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations with a minor in Spanish.
